Two Souls were saved at Enabled ministries tonight [Friday, February 17]!The ministry down town is picking up, and our relationship with our neighboring ministries is growing rapidly. Before we had our group meeting tonight Glen, James, and I went to a church service at the Hope House where I was blessed enough to preach a message on 1 Corinthians 15:33. Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners. I am so tankful God saved a sinner like me, and He is now allowing me to work with the less fortunate on a regular schedule. I pray every day for a complete turn around in our down town Middletown area.
H.O.P.E. Update 2/3/12 by Roland Stone:
The Lord blessed H.O.P.E. fellowship with twenty two souls hungry to feed on God’s Word. Four children attended downstairs children’s ministry, and praise the Lord, we had more workers than children!
Max preached on Hebrews 12:15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;
The message hit home with many. In fact we have one new salvation to report. The Lord is working in the hearts and souls of all who will open up to receive God’s forgiveness.
More and more Grace family members are joining the activities on Friday night. Thank you for giving up Friday night to fight the battle for the hearts and souls of our Middletown residences.
God bless you all for your faithfulness!
01.27.12 – Update from Roland Stone
Tonight Glen South preached, and WOW! were we in for a treat. This guy can can a give message! Let me tell you. He gave the sermon on our tenth bible truth. The truth is found in Colossians 3:10, “And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him...”
Glen gave three main points:
1.Col 3:9-put off the old man, through repentance
2.Col 1:18-giving Christ preeminence, by making Christ first
3.Col 3:10-put on the new man, by walking with Christ . Very touchy subject to those whom refuse to ask Christ into there life as Savior and Lord.
The attendance was pretty good, we had around twenty enrollees and twelve children. Our staff is fine tuning the program so well that everything is running real smooth. Once again, we give lots of thanks to our church Grace Baptist of Middletown. And we, of course, give all the glory to Jesus Christ. I would like to also thank anyone else who has had any part at all in aiding us with any help they have given.

Quick Update of Mike Williams
This past week Roland Stone and I were able to see Bro. Mike and Joyce Williams. As many of you know, Bro. Mike has had serious health troubles. We were encouraged to see Bro. Mike take some steps. This was great considering that he was not supposed to have the ability to walk. As Bro. Mike said, “This is a miracle.”
Please continue to pray for this precious couple as Bro. Mike continues to recover. Both have a strong desire to get back involved at Enabled, but Bro. Mike needs more time to heal. Pray for the Lord to completely heal his body. Here is a brief photo taken at their home.

Friday 13 2012 Update from Roland Stone:
It was another full house at Enable Ministries. The mission is growing more and more every day.We have been building relationships with many men and women who live in our local temporory housing units. Most of these folks are wanting a change of life. There are many reasons why these people have hit rock bottom. The main reason being, the lack of work in the city of Middletown. I’m sure there are some cases in which drugs and alchol play a part. It is not our job to fix their past; that is God’s job. We can become good stewards of the grace of God by expressing how we too have overcome tough situations with Jesus Christ’s help.

First Friday of the New Year Update
First Friday of the New Year Update
by: Roland Stone
Enabled Ministries went smoothly. ”For none of us liveth to himself, and no man diet to himself.” The chapter is talking about not judging our brother in Christ. We may have brothers in Christ who are weaker in faith, but we are not the judge of them.
I feel that we had a real impact on the downtown Middletown area tonight. Three people accepted Jesus as their Savior tonight! Our building was full. If someone left hungry, I cannot see how. The Gospel was clearly presented; plus, I took home twenty left over hot dogs…Yum!
Our team of rescue soldiers for Enabled Ministries worked well with one another. Ultimately, God gets all of the glory. Please pray for all the lost souls within our reach.
Thanks, church!

December 30th Enabled Meeting: One Saved!
In my absence, Roland took upon himself a greater role at the HOPE meeting @ Enabled Ministries this last Friday. Bro. Ed Clifford was able to assist, and Bro. Clifford sent me the following update and pictures:
“Bro. Max, Friday night Enabled Ministry was wonderful. Bro. Roland had everything under control. Counting clients and servants, there were fifty one people there. There were testimonies, prayer requests, and adevotion. The ladies had their hands full with all the children. I think there were thirteen children. Bro. Battig brought the message, one soul was saved, praise the Lord!! Fellowship was great and there was plenty of good food. The format that was developed for Friday night was followed. It was a good time in the Lord. He was praised, and given honor by many tonight. Praise His Holy Name!!”
Also, a special thank you to Bro. and Sister Spradling for stepping in this past Friday and Bro. Andy Lake for last Friday!
Great Update from Roland!
Christmas Eve is hear. Thank you, Jesus Christ for coming to live only to die for me. Enable Ministries went great last night. First of all, we did have two accept our Lord as Savior. Amen! Hallelujah!
Five people did raise there hand to Tommy Depew’s devotion wanting to trust in Jesus as there Savior. The ministry had a total of 47 people sign in. Out of these 17 people were our regular enrollees and 7 were our new guest.
Glen and I started walking Central Avenue at 6pm and had to get back by 6:30. By this time people were lined up outside to get in.
The kids were great last night. We did help a few families out with gifts to put under their trees. At closing time there were still lots of toys left over, so we gave all the kids who were there a gift and wished them a merry Christmas. Thanks for the prayers and everyones help. Have a MERRY CHRISTMAS.

Friday Night by Roland Stone
Exploding Friday night at Enabled Ministries
We had at least fifty people inside the ministry building. The message we preached was centered around Jeremiah 17:9. Our message brought many questions. We did our best to answer any questions and give what advice we could. We do wish our guests success in overcoming these tough situations.
It takes a high level of patience to witness many of our enrollees achieve their goals. Some guests are homeless, hungry, and just ready to give up all hope. Most people we try to reach have already given up.
Our main goal at group on Friday nights is to allow these unfortunate people to see God at work first hand. So enabling these guys to witness the power of God teaches them our overall purpose which is: Knowing Christ can make you free.
Please continue to pray for us. We are still in need of volunteers to help counsel on Friday nights.
Thanks, Roland Stone
